About Us

Turning wrenches since 2020.

JEFF LOY

Owner

Grew up in the late 70’s and early 80’s in Southern CA and attended his first drag race at the ripe age of 2. Has been around cars and auto racing his entire life and has had a dream to spend his retirement resurrecting cars from the past.

SHANE MCQUEARY

LS & Electrical Specialist

Technician

Shane’s passion for cars started at a young age, spending much of his teenage years floating around his friend’s garage, helping where he could and learning as he went. Later transitioning into working on ATV’s, Outboards and lawnmowers, he has always enjoyed making things run and create power.

His passion for the LS Engine platform grew immensely when he purchased his 2010 Camaro. With the inability to ever leave well enough alone, shortly thereafter the car was where he wanted it to be making over 650 horsepower to the rear wheels.

Since then, he has gone on to take many classes with the Tuning School where he has learned to Tune the LS Engine with their Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Classes. Shane also has a passion for all things wiring and loves nothing more than an electrical challenge. He has completed countless LS swaps over the years and truly enjoys creating harnesses for the swaps that he does. His attention to detail and desire for perfection often has a way of shining through in his work.

DEVON GARLAND

Technician

Devon has always had a keen interest in understanding how things work, constantly disassembling and reassembling whatever he could when he was a kid. His love for motors started with a Christmas gift from his Mom – a gas powered RC car. Through his own eagerness to learn, he taught himself how to maintain and repair the tiny combustion engines. When he was old enough, his Dad brought him into their garage to start learning more about vehicles and the “right way” to wrench, which is with a great attention to detail and never cutting corners. In the countless hours they spent on projects, his passion grew with every car he touched.

Once he was an adult, he decided to follow that passion and formally train with Lincoln Tech’s Automotive Service Technology program, where he graduated in 2012. Since, he has spent a lot of time working on vehicles both personally and professionally. With his Dad now passed, Devon honors his memory by his career with Nostalgic, doing what they loved to do together.

RUSSELL LEBERECHT

Technician

Russ grew up on the west side of Cincinnati and immigrated to Kentucky in 1996. When he was young, his father instilled in him a love for the aesthetic beauty of classic cars.

While Russ has always had a love for cars, his first career path was in law enforcement, serving his Kentucky community for over 25 years. After retiring from the police force, he found himself searching for another career where he could finally immerse himself in his passions. His search lead him to Nostalgic Garage, where he gets to be around all of the cars he’s loved since he was a kid.

Providing Expert & Honest Service Since 2020

Our History

Growing up in Southern California, Jeff had always been around speed shops. He felt that there was something missing with the speed shops in the tri-state area so came up with an idea for Nostalgic Garage. Also, it was an excuse for him to buy equipment that he wanted for his own vehicles as well. Nostalgic Garage opened in 2020 with the idea of bringing a west coast speed shop vibe to the tri-state area. We want a forum and atmosphere for “gear heads” to be able to get parts and service and just hang around seasoned car addicts to get ideas for their rides as well. We have a 750 sq ft retail space for parts and apparel along with a 3000 sq ft shop. We have a lounge area as well so come take a load off and have some coffee while discussing what you need for your ride!

Our Service

We want to be known as the first shop for all of your performance and rebuild needs. We network with some of the best shops in the tri-state area and will make sure to point you in the direction of someone that can help. Our ultimate goal is to make sure every guy and gal has their ride tricked out the way they want without breaking the bank to do so.
